Here are 10 ideas to create wonderful memories for you and your children:
This unique childhood party can take place at a grand hotel, library, church, outdoors, or at home.
This is a great occasion for you, your children, and their toys to dress up in your prettiest clothing.
Toys have times in their lives when they need to sit down with children, adults, and imaginary friends to talk about their day over a cup of tea.
Use a special miniature tea set, some cookies and milk, a little diluted and flavored green tea, and capture these fleeting moments.
Choose fancy or casual depending on your age group.
The bears are the stars of the show, so ask the children who are going to attend to send you pictures (photos or drawings) of their toys ahead of time.
Put these up around the room so everyone feels welcome.
Use clip art and stickers to decorate them.
About the only thing that cannot be disposable are the china tea cups.
Themes include CareBears, ValentineBears, VictorianBears, even BikerBears.
Avoid sticky fingers or keep a lot of washcloths for little fingers before they play with the toys.
Offer easy theme based cookies or cake, and peanut butter finger sandwiches (checking for allergies beforehand, of course).
Ribbons for hair ornaments, handmade jewelry are easy. Dress up is always fun with feathered hats for the girls and fake moustaches for the boys.
Find second-hand small children’s or baby clothing and offer child-safe coloring pens or cut out sponges to stamp colorful patterns on them.
When you say go, whoever gets their toy completely dressed, wins.
Be sure to take lots of photos for great memories.
Enjoy!
